Hello to all reading this! I just started Shadow of the Colossus today, because GamesRadar keeps ranting about how awesome it is. I actually bought this game before about a year earlier, but I didn't know how to find the first colossus so I quickly became bored. :P Anyways, onto the first boss!
Day 001------
Okay, so I'm saving this girl from an eternal sleep. I need to kill 16 colossi to do so. Sounds easy enough! I take a couple of hours to try and actually get on my horse, and then I try to figure out how to get the idiot to move! Not liking the controls or the camera so far. I eventually get the hang of it, and use my shiny sword to lead the way to Mr. Colossus #1. I come across a mountain, or a steep cliff, or whatever, and climb my way up. Simple enough. The controls were a lot better here than operating the uncontrollable beast they call a horse. So I get to the top of the cliff. A cutscene.

Alright, I knew the colossus was going to be big, but I have to kill THIS?!?!?!? If a plumber can kill a fire-breathing turtle, then a generic wandering protagonist can take down a towering monster. So I run up to the colossus, and jump on to his left foot. (Yes, I read a guide on how to kill him before I got the game. Sorry. :P) I promptly stab the conveniently placed weak point, and the beast gets down on one knee. (Will continue later)
