The Third time playing this game for me was on the boring side. I had completed the game the second time I played so going through the same dialogue and actions was repetitive and monotonous. I still think that this game resembles the Pokemon series games with the characters and movements, it is very strange to compare the two because of the different content but that is what Super Columbine Massacre's format reminds me of. As I was going through the stages of the game, it is evident that the two boys had very foul language when they would engage in conversation. I know that the point of this game is to recreate the feeling and personalities of Harris and Klebold, but I feel like the swearing and morbid attitudes of the already disturbed boys is a little harsh for possible family members may have to see.
The shooting and bomb placement in this game is also very accurate to the real events. When you are in the cafeteria and bombs are going off by the tables, it recreates the video camera footage of that scene very well. I thought the process it takes to actually kill someone took a bit too long for my taste. I hated going through all the options screens and then waiting for two gun blasts to actually kill one of the students. I wish the creators would have came up with a better way of using your weapons.
Overall this game was decent, I was not in a very excited mood to kill students that are pixels of actual people that died. Columbine was a very tragic and sad day for this country and will continue to haunt the lives of the families involved. This game brings back those bad memories and is probably hated by those families. I had no connection to anyone in that tragedy, so I can stay neutral while playing this game. I am not a big PC game fan in the first place, but this game was alright and definitely captured all the aspects that led up to and occurred on that dark day.

After playing Super Columbine Massacre for the second time I noticed how detailed the game really is. The game cuts into President Clinton's actual speech he gave after the tragedy occurred. That is the first time I have played a game that included an actual piece of the USA's history. I also enjoyed the part of the game where it cut to a flashback of Harris and Klebold being picked on, harris in the locker room getting beat up by three students and Klebold in the cafeteria sitting by himself wishing someone would notice him. Then after these two flashbacks you have the option of shooting students in the gym, where the jocks that beat up Harris are and go into the cafeteria, the place that haunted Klebold. The cafeteria part of the game is very surreal because we have all seen the videotape footage of the tragedy taking place in that cafeteria. The use of the home made bombs and shooting people really made the game a realistic version of what really happened that day.
The only part i disliked while playing the game is the process it takes to actually shoot someone. There are too many sub screens and options just to shoot someone. It would be a lot more convenient if the game creators made a letter key the option to shoot someone instead of going through the violence screens over and over again. Super Columbine Massacre also shows the dead bodies after you kill someone, bloodied on the floor, which in my opinion would definitely bring back bad memories of the 13 people that died that day. I also thought it was weird that after every kill they would say victory for trench-coat mafia. I think that is a little harsh for a video game, especially one that had such a negative affect on many lives.
The game is very interesting though and i am looking forward to playing it again for the third time.

Super Columbine Massacre is a game that definitely brings back bad memories of a horrible day for America. This is a very accurate game that definitely captures all aspects of all the events that led up to Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold's vicious attack on an unexpecting Columbine High School. This is the first time I have played this game, so I was not sure what I was in for. The beginning of the game was interesting because it starts off with Eric waking up in his room and then the plot begins to thicken. The controls of the game are very easy with the use of the arrow keys and enter. Super Columbine Massacre reminded me of the Gameboy version of Pokemon. The controls are the same, and the characters in the game even move and look the same. I am not sure if the game is made by the same creators but it definitely reminded me of playing Pokemon, although Super Columbine Massacre is a lot heavier and depressing than Pokemon. Throughout the game there is a lot of dialogue going on between Harris and Klebold, which helped keep my interest as to what the next step in the game would be. It was also interesting reading their quotes and watching video clips and pictures of what actually happened that day. Althought this is just a game, all of the chapters and scenes of the game are realistic to the events that occurred on April 20th, 1999. As I got deeper into the game and entered the school, I figured out that you had to step in front of the students, teachers, and janitors to be able to attack them. It was a little weird shooting the "preppy and pretty" students because a lot of people probably do not find this game funny or entertaining. I know that these are factitious characters in a PC game, but they definitely could remind someone of a person that actually lost their life during this tragedy. I liked the fact that you could enter all the rooms and that there is many options to hit enter at to do different things.
I only played the game for a half hour, and there was a lot of information to take in and experiment with. Next time I play i am going to experiment more with the game and see what else i can have Eric and Dylan do to cause more havoc within the school.
