Super Columbine Massacre RPG is a very interesting game. It proposed a lot of ethical questions and showed the moral values (or the lack there of) that Eric and Dylan had. The things that I really noticed were that the font that the developers used was extremely hard to read. There were several times when I didn’t understand what they were talking about.
Another question that kept coming up over and over for me was who developed this and is this dialogue similar to what was really said the morning of the school shooting, or was it guessed? It seemed very detailed, and it could have just been guessed based on what was released to the public after the all of the findings were reported by the police.
One thing that really hit me was the last recording that they left. It showed just a spark of almost regret. It was the one moral thing that I saw in the very beginning of the game. They took complete responsibility for what they were about to do, except for the fact that their peers were the ones who started it. However, they were apologetic to their parents and said that there was nothing they could have done to stop this.
Although the game was very cartoonish and not much graphic detail, I felt like I was replaying a bad dream. The dialogue seemed very real and to have real pictures of the two shooters helped me to get pulled into the game and feel connected to the experience.
