I have played this game before and beat the game but today I went back to my old school collection and brought it out and played it. I started from the beggining and one thing I noticed its that like most GTA games you start in a low point, probably the lowest point of your life. Your mother’s dead, crooked cops are hassling you, and you can feel the pull of the gangster life that you left Los Santos to escape. After the initial cut scene CJ, has to head back to his home. Now this to me is where your first ethical choice comes. Because here you can either choose to take a bicycle or if you're in a hurry you can jack a car from a nearby road in order to make it their faster. People playing this game especially the younger crowd is going to think well im in a hurry I have no car and no ride. So what is going to stop them from thinking, "Hey he did it in the game. Why is it wrong for me to do it? The other thing that really stood out to me is the racial implications that this game had. Why is that the people of minority are the ones being ordered around and dressed up as they have no education. While the other races are dressd up very nice and clean and are usually the main men in the gang. I had my games all saved from before so then I jumped to the mission of Tagging up Turf. Where you and your brother will have to spread out a bit and tag up the neighborhood, obscuring the tags of the Ballas and the Front Yard gangs. To me growing up in a populated are with gangs, this mission really stands out. This mission here to me is saying if your in a gang go and mess with their territory. First of all it is not only the gangs property your messing but ordinary citizens who have nothing to do as well. If you bump into one of the gangs members you can cap him off so he wont bother you or try to kill you. This mission right here is making tagging and murdering like if its all part of life and it is something you must do.
