So I thought I posted this some time ago, but I guess I should really double-check next time.
Anyways, what I did before that previous post was go after more hunts. I went after one called Diabolos which I did because the monster looked easy. But looks can be deceiving as we all know. This little thing that flies around killed me due to the status effects that it put on me. The main ones that killed me were confuse and disease(max hp depletes and cannot heal). Also this Diabolos put a paling up which made only magical attacks work. Naturally, I like the whole class thing in FF so I tried to make each of my six character's have a "job". My only black magician was Fran and this proved terrible because she would always die before she could attack and in the end I ended up dying. I'll try that mark later again.
I also went after a mark called Carrot which is a trademark huge malboro. This was extremely easy because I would just stand at a distance and attack while my tank took all the status effects and kept it busy. I seriously don't know who came up with the design for a malboro, but it doesn't look like anything I would ever come up with. Anyways, I got a figurine in the Sky Pirate's Den for defeating Carrot and everything ended up fine.

So I kept playing and got a few more summons. I like the way how each summon represents a sign of the zodiac. Like the balance throned Exodus to the Floating crab..thing of Zeromus, most of these look exactly like the zodiac symbol. Also, when the summons raise what they call palings (a shield that nullifies physical or magical damage), it takes a lot of effort to try and hurt them because the summon usually does this at the brink of death. Besides this the way to get to most of these optional summons are so vague that I needed a guide to show me the way. Examples are activating springs in a certain order, helping a random wounded person, turning on/off water valves and talking to a completely random person out of the thousands there are. These things are what makes FFXII very lengthy.
Also, I found out that there is going to be a "sequel" to FFXII on the Nintendo DS. This excited me at first, but since I don't have a DS, it quickly made me sad. Oh well. After watching the ending which was nice...I guess. I really want to see what happens after though the tiny graphics of the DS might ruin the feel. Again...oh well. More later hopefully, FFXII calls again.

I beat this game already so I'm writing a log on the game as a whole and the extra features which I am attempting now. The first movie was incredible (think of star wars meets lord of the rings). It really set the mood of the game would compel me to look at the intro again on youtube. For the first few hours of the game, I was kinda bored. But once I got my first party member, the game really picked up. The battle system picked up and everything wrapped up in the end which made a brilliant game. The story was very political and it required a lot of "paying attention" as they would give a new name out every hour. The character's were (mostly) fleshed out even though two of them weren't really needed.
Adding to the battle system, it's a good change to the final fantasy series as well as the gambits which makes it seem like you're controlling all 3 characters at the same time. Licenses are okay because I like characters to have set roles, but it's a change and I have to adapt to it. Music is nice, but nice at most because none of the tunes really get stuck in your mind. Voice acting is wonderful, however, and all the voices match the character.
Right now I'm doing the extra quests which are the hunts including the extremely "HP rich" bosses. Even though the game is over, the game is still fun and I'm thinking of even replaying it. As of now, I've completed almost all the hunts and I'm am going to challenge the optional espers (summons). I'll update and tell how it goes.
My Review:
Gameplay 9.5
Graphics 9
Sound 8.7
Story 9
Surge (How the game flows) 9
Overall 45.2/50 A-
