I am not sure which surprised me more in the game GTA San Andreas. It is between blasting cops, whores, and drug dealers in the head with a shotgun and being gunned down by a helicopters and hundreds of officers shooting to kill me. When the player dies in the game, the screen gets gray and focuses on the body. In an instance where you are on top of a building and u get shot down, the kill cam will catch u falling until you hit the ground. The ability to die and how Rock-star presents the death in the game makes somewhat of an impact. The camera will move out and you will see all the hell you have caused in San Andreas. Another aspect of San Andreas which got hold of my attention was the fact that you are able to gamble, drink, and smoke weed. I have played games before like Tony Hawk 4, and there were stations where you could gamble your money. The game made this very kid friendly and fun. They mean no harm by adding the aspect of gambling. Unlike gambling, smoking weed is different. Gambling is illegal till 21, but weed is illegal for all ages. Knowing weed is illegal, I find it odd that they would try to put that in there. I feel they put a positive connotation on weed when playing the game.

Rock-star has created a game in which the sandbox style of play is available. Within this city of San Andreas, your character can be controlled by the player to an exact of how far he will take it with the women. I think one of the greatest qualities about GTA is that the player is making choices that will affect the outcome of the game. Whether or not a player chooses to have sex with a women has much of an effect later on in the game. The fact the video games are giving the option to have sex with...a whore. That amazed me of how in depth these games go, and how far can they push the thresholds of the content in video games.
