Sometimes I wonder if I keep playing solely because I really like my character. Don't get me wrong, there are many things I truly do enjoy about this game. But the lack of role-playing can be a bit frustrating at times, especially when in my head I am comparing the game to live action RPGs.
But my character is fun. A rodian image designer who scours the galaxy for the best way to make a quick buck. I stubbornly role-play even when people won't role-play back and I have a fairly defined persona for my rodian. I think the persona I have developed and play up combined with how cool my character looks and the ability to dress her up in lots of different fun outfits keeps me coming back for more on those days I think I may never play again.
