3rd time playing, I decided to just walk around, no violence at all. I walked by the stereotypical portrayed gangbangers with tattoos, baggy clothing, carrying guns, and pretty scary looking. They didn’t do anything to my character. I saw many policemen all over town. I was able to see the so mentioned sunrises and sunsets people talked about in class and I felt very secure and relax just by walking around. It was more like, if you don’t mess with us (the other characters in the game), we don’t mess with you kind of way. My character even received compliments by the women characters wearing very little clothing. This got me thinking of the article we read for class talking about women being portrayed as hyper-sexualized objects that entice very controversial fantasies in society. Over all, I liked the game and wouldn’t mind to play it again.
