Day 3
Still haven't finished the game. Don't think I really want to. For those of you who have played the game and say that I'm wrong for not liking the game; just hush up and listen to my reason why.
One, I believe there was no need to include the bit with the boys being in Hell. Sure, it brought more life to the game, but ultimately it wasn't going to save the game. I mean, you were basically doing the same thing as above in the school, except your fighting bigger and badder monsters. But I felt like this was an insult to the memories of those two boys. Yes they committed a crime. Yes they killed a bunch of people and committed suicide. But still, if Eric's last thoughts were any indication (granted we don't know if he really thought this), he at least felt guilty for what he and Dylan had done. Which if I am not mistaken is kind of like asking God for forgiveness, and if God is truly a forgiving god, then that would at least deem him worthy enough to get to heaven. Now don't take my word on this, I'm no Catholic, it's just what I've been told.
Two, I didn't like having to kill everyone to make sure I would have enough strength to survive Hell. I mean what was the point? Was it so that our strength equaled how big a sin we committed? Why did we have to kill everyone? I know that in the actual event, the boys killed almost everyone. But still, to continue the game did we really have to reenact the whole thing? I personally don't think so. Also, imps are not big strong muscular creatures. They are thin little creatures that like to play tricks on people. Unfortunately it is too late to change the name of the creatures.
Ultimately up until we ended up in Hell, my over all feelings for the two boys was pity, possibly even empathy. I've been teased and had the hard part of life thrown at me in more ways than one, but never to the point where I'd actually pick up a gun and kill people. It makes me wonder why these boys didn't go seek out help. Were they so messed up that they didn't see any way of getting help? I don't blame either one for the idea of killing the students, though I have a feeling that the whole idea was probably Dylan's; I just wish that someone had noticed that something was wrong with these two boys and tried to do something about it. And not create a game about it.
Another reason I don't like this game. We don't need games that blows other people's sufferings out of proportion! This game has little respect for what the boys were going through. Yes it was creative, but still. We don't need games that are about someone's problems. It presents a bad influence for those who have similar feelings to those who feel the same way Eric and Dylan did.

Day 2
Okay, I know it's bad to say bad words, but I have got to say this... WHAT THE HELL?! You go around killing people, until you decide to kill yourself, and then you end up in hell... What was the point of showing all those nice pictures then?? And why is it that Dylan ends up in Hell but not Eric? I guess I'll have the answer in my next blog entry.
I must say I'm really disappointed with this game. I didn't like it that much to begin with, but when I ended up in Hell at the end, that just ticked me off. Because right after the two boys kill each other, there is this sequence where the creators of the game have sort of a memorial moment for the boys, and I got all sad and what not for them, because they looked so happy in the pictures. Way to show respect for the dead stupid creators! I mean how do we know they ended up in Hell? Is there even a Hell? And why would only one of them end up in Hell? Seriously this is messed up.
For those of you who have not played the game, DON'T! Promise me you won't okay? Because this is just so wrong. Yes, it is interesting to get a look into what the two boys may have been thinking while they were killing all the students at the school, and I will admit, that before I got to the part where you're in Hell, I was actually going to say some nice things about the game. But that bit with Hell, just twitched me the wrong way, and now I can see absolutely nothing good about this game in any way, shape, or form.

Day 1
Once Again, not a 5 star, but it is a little better than GTA: San Andres. I actually kind of want to laugh at this game, because I find the whole thing just silly. Life stinks, so let's go take our frustration out on other people and blow up a school while we're at it... So silly. I know this game is based off of an actual event that occurred. But if what I'm seeing in this game is the reason why it happened, then I'm sorry, but I have to laugh.
Life has its ups and its downs, and we all suffer for it. But that doesn't mean you have to go kill people. If you are really that desperate to go kill people, then play some violent video game, I highly recommend it. For those of you who are wondering why I recommend these people go and play violent video games, is because that's what I do when I'm overly frustrated. I take my frustration out on the computer generated players, thus avoiding the possibility of hurting others (not that I actually would.)
I would not suggest using this game for therapeutic reasons though, because this game encourages what you should be avoiding (killing people because you hate the world). I mean over all the game is not horrible. A little graphic with the blood, but not as bad as GTA. Okay, after killing a few students, the killing began to get so boring that I started doing auto just so I could get the fight over with and move on. I mean come on! I was basically doing the same attacks over and over again. And to me that's REALLY boring. I liked how the graphics were done over all because it reminded me of the old fashion arcade games. I forget when this was made so maybe that's why it looks like an old arcade game. I don't know. But yeah, I liked the graphics, minus the blood. The blood was just weird. I mean during the attack sequence when you finally defeat the guy the thing says "so and so collapsed" and the next thing you know, your staring at a bloody corpse. Personally if your going to be that graphic anyways just say: "So and so is dead", unless the purpose is to be a surprise... somehow I doubt that.
Still haven't finished the game. So until next time, I'll be seeing you.
