On My last sit down. I decided to go ahead and "end it", So during the speech I was amazed by the depth the game creator put into the game. Eric was asking questions like how everything would have been different if they were stranded in an island or better yet destroy the twin towers . Then I was introduced with the pictures of all the victims in columbine. I thought that was the end of the game, but now you play in hell. Apparently hell is infested for some reason with Doom enemies. Enemies are now tougher to kill and the game becomes a bit difficult as enemies are everywhere. Walking around I found a teleporter thing that took me to this area where you find different video game and other media characters. I was surprised at start as why did the game creator made that area. However the answer came to me, it is a way to emphasize that you are only playing a video game, video games always tend to be crazy not to influence but to create something that is impossible to create in reality. You can't find any student you killed in school in hell. That was a smart move by the game creator to show players that there are no consequence for what you are doing in the game . Even though the game is call Super Columbine Massacre RPG, it is just a parody of how the media portrays video games as influential and violent. The game ends with a speech from different people at the school. Each one blaming something and ultimately blaming the whole society for their acts. The message of the game however is much stronger and I think the game creator did a great job given that he did it with a game that had simple mechanics and bad graphics.

I started my second sit down with this game my getting inside the school after the bombs had failed to detonate. The parking lot is filled with children and when bumping with any of them a battle starts. The battle system is similar to the older Final Fantasy games where you pick an action and the character reacts based on the action you choose. The battles are easy to win, even at level one there was no challenge. I explored the hallway of the school where I went from class to class and killed everyone in every class just to gain experience points to level on. I was trying to make sure to see everything in the game and fight everyone in the game. I went to the cafeteria and turned on the fire alarm, I clicked on the old bomb and started it. A cut scene had started while I was exiting the cafeteria, showing Dylan being alone in a table shunned by all the other students and sitting alone. I realized after watching the cut scene that there is a message that the game creator is trying to communicate here. Upon further exploring I went to the Library and met a Tim which was a student they knew, surprisingly they did not kill Tim. The game creator did not view Eric and Dylan as crazy psychopathic people, he thought that there was something in their lives that triggered their whole anger and violence and to this point I was thinking maybe he was implying video games or movies or any other sort of media(I was wrong). So reaching the end of the Library I walked pass the window and Eric started shooting at the Police after that I got a message saying that it is time to go. I had two choices either kill myself or continue on with the exploration. I wanted to see the other rooms that I didn't explore. So I went to the gym and had to see a flashback where Eric was being bullied in the bathroom, that scene to me is the most important scene in the whole game thus far. It shows how the game creator wanted to prove something, he wanted to prove that video games does not create violence and he does prove it by letting players who are playing the game become a bit sentimental for Eric. The whole controversy of the game is in fact intended and it is there just to throw an idea. The idea is that people always seem to relate children's violence to video games and never see other aspects that could have affected the whole situation, like bullying or social out casting.

Before I started my first sit down. I watched the final report on the Columbine shooting as I was not aware of the whole incident. After watching the report I was shocked to know that they made a game of the whole incident. Anyways, I start the game as Eric David one of the two attackers. The starting area of the game reminds me of Pokémon, as you start in your bedroom waking up to an important day. Here you wake to a scheduled massacre that Eric has been waiting for a long time. To my surprise the game is well made for an independent game, as they offer back story scenes to help relate the whole incident in a way that can be comprehensible with the player. After gathering the bombs and the duffle bags you will be introduced with your friend Dylan. From what I see, Dylan serves as a guide that tells you what to do next. As I'm planting the bombs in the school I started to feel strange as I never felt like this while playing a video game. Guilt or disgust is what I started to feel. The game is based on real events and that what makes it strange to me.
