I haven't played any of the GTA games for quite awhile. The last one I played was 4, and I didnt have too high of an opinion on it. I do remember however, that my favorite was San Andreas by far. I had beaten the game several times even though I used cheat codes.
I went home and got my old PS2 and copy of San Andreas. Since I hadn't played in so long I thought it would be good to just do the main storyline first. My old save file wasnt available because I lost my old memory card, so I started from sratch.
I started the game and was smacked by a wave of nostalgia. I watched the cutscene and then went into the actual game. The ui, characters, and cars were all still great and reminded me of my old playing days. It was good to see the old Grove Street gang, especially Big Smoke, as I hadn't seen him since I shot him dead so many years ago.
I got in the car with Big Smoke and began the missions, but when I got to the part where I got on the bike I became distracted. The sandbox style of gameplay was too appealing, and thus began the culling of the San Andreas population. I continued to slaughter the masses for about 30 minutes until I became bored.
