My second session of playing Super Columbine Massacre RPG was not that fun Because my first impression of playing this game was that the game violate the norms of the society by award player when he/she kill more people. Anyways, I started the second time playing by going to the cafeteria and plant some bombs and wait until they work and kill everyone. For some reasons, they did not work and I started to fight with my gun. The thing that surprised me that the victims are always do nothing to me and the game was designed that way. The games’ makers designed the game in which it impossible to the victims to kill me.
I did not find it fun to play the game or in other words, to kill people. And I was wondering if it is ethical in video games to kill people or not? And if the answers is yes then why it is not ethical in real l if? Is it okay to violate our cultures’ norms in video games? Does not that lead to violate the cultures’ norms in real life?
In my opinion, if anything violates our culture norms in real life, then it does violate the cutlers’ norms in video games. So, killing is not acceptable in real life then it should not be acceptable in video games. And if you ask me why, the answer is very simple. It is because lead and teach our children to violate those norms. We represent our behavior, as people, from the media. And video game is one type of media that affect our society.
