As i continue to play online MOD3, i continue to work on the strategies that i have developed. As i have played varying maps, i have kept an eye out for good, easy to control regions where i can linger and hold out against my opponent. I have found that i am much better at using sniper rifles than any other weapon, the 50 caliber barret particularly is my favorite. Im trying to avoid camping in one place for too long, but i have noticed that the maps aren't big enough in MOD3. There's only usually one really long range spot to shoot from and usually you give yourself away after one shot so you can't survive there for long kill streaks. My main objectives for online multiplayer may have to change since sniping is limited for this version of MOD.

MW3 is pretty much identical to the other two Modern Warfare franchise. Especially in terms of online game play, the rules and objectives of the players are mostly the same across all three games. There are only slight differences in weapon choices, perks, and prestige rules. There are also more match types to choose from with slightly different rules, though i generally disregard the actual objective of the matches and aim to increase my kill/death ratio.
My main objective in particular is to eliminate as many opponents as possible while staying alive as long as i can. No matter what type of match i enter, i focus on keeping my K/D as high as possible. Because of this, i play only "ground war" matches mostly because that is the largest party match with 12-18 people. I have developed many strategies to achieve my goal. Generally i always keep track of my teammates and the regions of the maps that they have good control over; this way i can reduce the chance of getting flanked. Also, based on where my teammates are (and the general vicinity that i can dictate of where my opponents are spawning) i tend to camp in not in one place, but in a easily controlled area of the maps so that i can easily take incoming opponents without being over run.
I really enjoy playing this game, and i will continue to improve my strategies with the same objective in mind.
