After putting Tekken Tag Tournament on hiatus for a while, I decided to go back and play it and brush up my "skills". My favorite character to use is Ling Xiaoyu though not many people like to use her, but that's why I trained with her so I could be a little different. However, my favorite team is Jin and Jun because they kind of balance each other out. I decided to train with a couple of the female characters such as Nina, Anna and Julia and found them all to be really good. I'm thinking of using Nina/Anna as a team now since they are both really similar and it's kind of like a backup thing.
After not playing for a long time, I found the graphics to be in tip top condition even for it's release date a couple years ago. The graphics aren't perfect by all means, but they're pretty good. The thing I like about the Tekken series (my favorite fighting series) is that it requires skill to play a character. Unlike Soul Calibur (another one of my favorite series), simply button mashing doesn't really give you the upper hand since if you button mash in Soul Calibur it can bring you to far places.
I loved playing Tekken Bowling again because I've always been a fan of real life bowling and this just adds up. I think the people with auto-aim are really cheap in bowling so I tend not to use them much. However, if the time calls and I just feel like giving it a go, I break out Yoshimitsu and Gun-Jack. The final boss for this installment is Unknown who I think was a bit too easy, but her character in play is something to not mess with. She can become any character by pressing R3(Left analog click) and if you use her with another person, that team is a force to be reckoned with.
Anyways, it was nice to play this again and as for a review....well I've decided not to give it a review because I give it an A anyways. I love Tekken =).
