Before playing Transformers: Fall of Cybertron I had to play the prequel, Transformers: War for Cybertron. High Moon did their job in bringing the Transformers to life in the most outstanding ways for the fans. War for Cybertron follows the story of both the Autobots and Decepticons, Megatron lust for power and order brings destruction to Cybertron. Optimus Prime must stand against Megatron to stop his plans and bring back what was once a peaceful Cybertron. High Moon did such a great job in brining in the iconic characters, like Soundwave, Sideswipe, Starscream, Iron Hide, etc. As well as within the story High Moon gives good plot inserts such as, how Optimus became a Prime or how the Matrix was created. The game is an excellent shooter it has a well developed style of combat for robot or vehicle that never gets dull. It has a over the shoulder gunplay that consist of a variety of guns that alters the arm of the Transformer and gunplay combat. Every level in the campaign has three unique characters each one with its own ability or class. For example, Optimus is in the class of Leader and has the War Cry ability which grants himself and the other two Autobots with increase power. No matter which campaign you are playing the game looks amazing and sounds incredible. The animation on the environment and each Transformer is very detailed as the movement on the structures and the character’s body moves realistically. The voices for each character are great as the dialogue brings the serious or comical dialogue for what you expect from each Transformer. Transformers: War for Cybertron is a great shooter/action video game. It fulfills in many ways why the Transformers dominated my early childhood as High Moon brought to life the best in the Transformers.
