Last week I visited the hell named "Farmville" and to keep in theme I decided to play one of the best games of all time, that farmville ripped up on and destroyed. Farmville was basically Harvest Moon on "no challenge mode" it gave no actual challenge to any player, however Harvest Moon made you actually try. It was timed, your farmer did not have unlimited energy and he had to actually sell his crops, not just harvest them. Real variables were also included, seasons for example and feed to keep farm animals alive. It made every action and gold spent actually means something. One wrong step and you could have to start again from the ground up. The best thing however is that Harvest Moon was a farming game that was fun and had role playing! Good role playing involving social situations and even love. Basically Harvest Moon > Farmville any day!
