If you asked me what my years in middle school or even what I learned in middle school the first thing that would come to mind would be Oregon Trail. Everyday rushing through my work in typing class just so I could play Oregon Trail. A simple RPG role playing game, with a strategy based decision mechanic. You decide your profession then your off in to unknown with your family and cart and either death or a brand new glorious life awaits you. Through the hardships of disease accidents and fast flowing rivers. Historically its an accurate description of threats settlers would face however as a game it's more fun then the settlers back then actually had.
