ghlee's Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas (PC)

// I wrote the Gamelog on the wrong section.
// This is actually a Gamelog for Katamari Damacy. the FIRST ONE..

Katamari Damacy looked very rediculus at the first time I saw the game cover. The characters, objects, and graphics looked very ugly. However, the idea of game was very idealistic! Rolling over objects made the ball bigger and that allowed player to roll over more and bigger objects. For example, player starts with small Katamari(ball) and roll over small objects like paper clips, piece of paper and so on. After obtaining number of small objects, the small Katamari gets covered by those small objects and you may roll over and get bigger objects. Starting from rolling over paper clips, papers, and trashes, you get to roll over banana, watermellon, animals, humans, cars, boats, houses, buildings, islands, clouds and so on.

It looks easy to play, however, with limited time makes game harder. It was very quick to learn how to play game. There was a story for the game and its each missions. Each characters and objects had different sound effects. By gaining different objects, the outcome was different.

Only bad thing that I saw was the camera. When the Katamari gets bigger, the Katamari blocked the view and I couldn't control the camera. If it had some kind of camera controller, it could've been better but it could be worse.

I'm done with most of missions. I need to finish the one that I need to make a moon out of Katamari.

I've been playing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas for about a week and saw the ending. It wasn't very difficult even though I died many times while I was playing it. Graphic effects and sound effects got me into the game with the story. Controls were very simple. Each missions had different goals that make me not to get bored of killing same guys. However, it required such a high CPU and mine only ran normally with the lowest setting.

The story starts from getting rid of terrors. Instead of capturing a boss character Arena, the main character looses his two teamates. While looking for them to save them, main character is sent to Vegas for different missions with new two teamates. They find out that the troubles in Vegas was caused by Arena and goes on with the mission to save his old teamates and arrest Arena. The main character saves one of his old teamates but also looses one. After killing Arena, he finds out that the old teamate who he just rescued was working with Arena. Game ends from there.

With simple controls, it is amazing that the player can do so many things. You can control your teamates. For example, you can command them to hold, prepare to enter a room (flashbang, granade, explosive, or just enter), use a rope for fastrope, etc. You also can take cover by the wall, by the car, or any objects that you can be covered. Using items makes the game more realistic and easy. You can use heat detacting goggle, night vision goggle, ropes, and many different weapons.

Each missions had different goals. Either rescuing hostages, rescuing teamates, hacking computers, setting up explosives, stopping explosives, clearing the area, killing a targeted character, etc.

I didn't like the ending that said "to be continued." I was getting into the game and game ended without any difficulties. I would only recommand to those of players who have a Desktop computer with decent CPU and Graphic Card or a decent labtop.

Vegas showed a lot of improvement and had a lot of difference from other games of Rainbow Six. It's very laggy(You'll need a decent computer.)

    Rating (out of 5):starstarstarstar
