I've fiddled with this before, but I sat down again because I've accumulated several music games in the last year or two. This one is pretty, but that's about it. It's a 3d space shooter where the galaxy pulses colors and undulates to your music. The music though doesn't seem to have a great impact on how the galaxy shifts and changes. I don't remember what I've played in the past, but today I had on Clutch and Cephalic Carnage and they looked pretty much the same despite being very different music, and both look how I remembered everything looking last time. That said, there are like 20 or 30 effect filters, so you can make waves or lasers or various neat looking patterns.
The gameplay aspect is really boring. You fly around shooting flying space Pac-Mans/clams and flying through power-ups. That's it. One enemy type and just fly around...Basically it's a giant music visualizer that you can shoot enemies in if you want. You can also turn enemies off and just listen to music through it. As a visualizer, it kicks everything else's ass. I think I got this for like $2 on Steam one time. Worth a couple bucks.
