The initial game play is very exploratory. No text instructions (although you can get hints if you go into the options menu), guidance is sparse and environmental/tonal. You are not only trying to solve the puzzle, but trying to figure out what the puzzle you are supposed to be solving is.
The game has three levels, each comprised of multiple puzzles and doorways/portals, when you've solved all of the main puzzles for a level its final puzzle provides transport to the next level. Additionally, there are vision puzzles and runes to collect for each level.
I've completed the main game on Steam (and have played some on android as well, but the game play is much more awkward on that platform because it has no control for moving sideways which is really essential for some of the puzzles).
Currently trying to find all the runes. It is taking a lot of time to walk around every single object in the game. Wondering just how much of a completionist I am...

Puzzle game, hints are available, but fairly sparse and you're not nagged constantly (i.e., at all) to press the hints button. Really no direction going in to the game so you just have to figure out what you might be looking for.
I've completed the main game which consists of three areas: a lighthouse, a tower, and a garden. Seriously would not known what those were if the Steam achievements weren't named accordingly.
In addition to completing the main levels, there is a vision puzzle for each level and 6 runes to collect on each level as well. Again, if it weren't for the Steam achievements, I wouldn't have known that these side tasks existed. Well, maybe the runes one because you'll see what often look like white digital artifacts every so often and if you get really close to one, you'll get a tone and a status indicator.
It's been an enjoyable ride. Sometimes there's a bit too much walking (and to call the run mode running is a bit of a stretch), but overall it's fun to try to figure out what the puzzle is in the first place and how you might try to solve it.
