Closing this since I don't think I'm ever going to 100% it. That's why I'd left it open. There are like 15 endings, and my girlfriend and I got 11 before we got super busy a while back (was it last winter?). I don't really want to bother with trying to figure out how to get the rest, and she's probably forgotten. Oh well!
I can't believe I never wrote anything about Hatoful Boyfriend. It's WEIRD in a good way. Just go online and read about it. It's like a pigeon high school dating sim visual novel. The characters are wacky, the setting is a high school for pigeons and you are a human that's been admitted. The world has in fact been taken over by anthropomorphic birds, so I guess you could say it's post-apocalyptic. There's a huge branching storyline with lots of endings. Romances. Rivalries. Backstabbing. Secrets. Bird-themed puns. I played because I'd read so many things about it and it just seemed too strange not to try.
Just play it. It's short. We laughed so much.
