So today I've learned something about myself; I threw a kids ball down a well. I wasn't even aware there was an achievement, is something up with that? Perhaps I have been playing to many videogames that I do things simply because well, I can. On the plus side though I covered a rabbit in soot so it could hang around with its black friends. Later I had trouble with a very simple puzzle involving a puzzle hamster wheel, but I digress cause now I can begin the game proper.

So today I started this game up, I got it on sale on Steam for like 3 bucks. From what I've played so far today Brothers:A Tale of Two Sons or Brothers as I'm probably going to call it is an adventure/puzzle game at first glance. It begins with a flashback/cutscene of the younger brother's life in which he is in a raft during a storm and is reaching for a adult woman who I think might be their mom drowning and the kid not being strong enough to save her, strangely enough the dad + the older brother are absent. This immediately sets the tone for the game to me as a rather somber adventure. The game actually begins for the player with both the brothers carrying their obviously sick father from their home to the town healer in the village where they live. Once they've brought their father there the healer through use of gestures, babbling, and interpretive dance tell the bros to go get a tree or flower or something where the healer gives them a scroll. With that they go out on a adventure. Since this game has no language I've had to interpret characters by their actions and tones instead. The older brother is actually rather nice and mature, Whereas the younger one as shown above... has issues, mostly with swimming and being nice or mature.
