This time around i pursued a side mission where i was asked to get bruisers, townsfolk and more to spread the word about a play that we wrote. The point here was that during the play i, the withcher would do a lot of hinting that Dudu should outcome of hiding. this play was beyond fascinating to me simply because it was time accurately portrayed. The wording, the acting and the audiences responses seemed oddly genuine. plus playing yourself in the play added a tiny bit of play ability to the whole endeavor. I loved watching Geralt stand all awkward like trying to say his line.

during this round, i came to the point in the game when you choose between helping the Elven blacksmith or walking away. during most side m,missions i usually walk away seeing as the payoff is rarely worth my time. however i had a friend who kept bugging me to go on and play em. anyways i helped the Elf and got an amazing sword that i couldn't use until level 32. seeing as i was already 29 i felt "hey! thats not too far off!" so long story short, i played through most of the side quests finding that those thought to be secondary were in fact where most of the juicy story elements resided. Lets just put it this way, if i hadnt followed through on helping Cralk and his son, i wouldn't have fought an ice giant.
