I found that the game may intentionally make the creature difficult to deal with like a normal animal. I got to a puzzle where I got pretty stuck, where you have to bring this pot and attach it to a chain and then Trico pulls on the chain a gate opens up. Inside this room there is a snack for Trico and everytime I pick it up to feed Trico he drops the other pot attached to the chain and shuts me in. I've tried throwing the barrel and it simply bounces off the wall. I am still playing the game tonight but decided to enter a journal entry just in case I forget later tonight as I do play more. I will try to edit it later.

Today I spent a while playing the Last Guardian. I find some of the animations infuriating. The puzzles aren't difficult it is that it is frustrating that when you command Trico around it gets confused.
On the flip side. I've felt more empathetic of the creature. We've fought a lot of the knights and taking out spears from its side is not fun. Trico really grew on me aside from the incredibly slow response to commands. Thankfully however, there is a command ability because looking back made me realize how difficult it could be to trigger the correct events. Eventually because everything was taking too long I just ended my session after a couple hours.

Today I started playing and enjoyed looking at the various textures. There were some fun little glitches I discovered while running into walls and rolling down steps. At first I was a little disoriented.
I had a hard time getting Trico to eat the the barrels at first until I removed the spears from it. In context with today's class. I am not an animal person (to the dismay of my girlfriend who loves cats) And this cat like creature frustrated me in the beginning. Plus it knocked me out. But over the course of a little bit I felt some empathy towards it. I spent a good twenty minutes observing it. An also belligerently not listening to the prompts. It was really amazing to watch the animations of it eating and struggling.
The schematics were a little difficult because of the stumbling animation. I enjoyed the realism of it. I also spent a while climbing Trico which was fun. I finally realized how to get the collar off and by climbing him found some cool little Easter eggs by doing so.
