Well, today we'll try the sandbox mode. So far it seems simple, but there sure are a lot of fiddly parts to setting up even just a building! I get that they're going for this realistic approach, but it's starting to get out of hand... Alright, I'm just going to go back to the campaign. At least their buildings were functional...
This game's cutscenes are more descriptive than I would have thought. It really is an interesting situation to be in. Either help the inmates in hopes that they turn out better, or just do the minimum and let them rot in their cells... and hope they don't riot... like they are now!

This game is starting to feel tedious honestly. I get that there is this ethical dillema here, but there just feels like so much micromanaging that goes on, it takes away from what's happening in the campaign. I did see that there is actually a sandbox mode, which I haven't tried yet. Maybe I'll just try that out tomorrow and see how quickly my inmates just riot and take over the entire prison...
Anyways, there definitely is a lot of violence in this game, which I should expect, it's trying to simulate a prison, which isn't full of unicorns and rainbow frosting.

Alright, so Prison Architect. Seems like a rollercoaster tycoon type of game, but with prisons... Should be interesting! Wow, starting off with an execution already!? This game doesn't beat around the bush. And nudity! Ok, well I guess I shouldn't be too surprised. This game is rated M after all. Hmm interesting, I was wondering if the game would offer me an option to not kill that man. I would have followed through with the death penalty, just somehting I slightly anticipated.
Ok, so now I'm facing a fire in my prison... What a mess. This looks like it will be expensive to repair. I accidentally hurt one of my firemen. Interesting, a prisoner was hurt... Ya know, I was expecting this to be more of a sandbox type of game, but this storyline element is intriguing.
