This game session was completely, well, captivating. Before this session, I thought the game was extremely beautiful and the story was interesting to follow, but after today's session I am completely immersed. The suspense has picked up and there is a ton of mystery to uncover. There were also a couple moments that just sent a chill through me, like finding the clipboard that started the whole mystery.
I didn't get too much farther after this small uncovering, but there were also a couple interesting choices that could be looked at from a moral standpoint. There were very suggestive flirty options with Delilah which almost straight up implied that you were ready to "abandon" Julia, and there was also an interesting choice where you could take more supplies if you wanted, but it would be taking away from the other lookouts. I did not attempt to see what would happen if I made this decision, I decided to just take what I was supposed to.
The suspense of the situation and talking between the character and Delilah kept me hooked, even though I had to hike really far with nothing else to gain my interest besides the radio conversations. I am excited to uncover more.

In this session I completed day 2, which was a lot shorter than day one but I thought it was still a good stopping point.
I primarily was able to explore the whole time, but in doing that I also was able to converse a lot with Delilah and now she knows all about Julia and why our character took the job. The game does a very nice job of keeping the areas fresh even though you are just in a huge forest. I got lost fairly easily but the game does manage to guide fairly well using subtle hints or conversation with Delilah. There were a couple interesting things that could be considered when it comes to moral standpoints, and that is the actions of the teens and how our character/Delilah wants to deal with it. Right now the game is building up the suspense to exactly what these weird things happening are, so there isn't much happening yet. But the story building is continuing mainly with Delilah and it still manages to make me want to learn more about what is happening in the forest and what happens between our character and Delilah.

So I am going into this game mostly completely blind, I've maybe seen about 30 seconds of a very early portion of the game from somewhere when the game first came out. I really thought the introduction to the game was interesting, starting with a pure text story and the most interesting part, choices. If I'm being honest, I think the choices wouldn't have impacted anything in this introduction, but it was still interesting to be a little interactive with the story before the gameplay started. The story isn't an original masterpiece but it still does the job of getting you attached and interested in what happens, more specifically what the job has to do with the story.
The game itself is beautiful to look at. I usually play games for competition or interaction, but I was still impressed at how interesting it was to just walk around the environment. The primary interest of the game, however, seems to be in the conversations with Delilah. This is seemingly where the question of morality will arise as well. There isn't anything too crazy with the conversations or decisions yet, but some choices allowed me to be presented as aggressive, or not a "good" person.
I ended around the point where somebody broke into the player's watchtower, which also presents a bit of mystery and leaves me wanting to see what happens on that front.
So far, overall, the game is surprisingly engaging even though the content of the game reminds me of reading a story/novel. I am excited to see if future choices impact the game more and if there are more morally serious situations that need to be dealt with.
