now my opinion of this game has been raised. It really does help when you have experienced players on your team who now how to build your fort. I myself still suck at the act of levitating the pieces of steel, but no biggy. There is a great diversity of levels, which always pumps you up for how youm ight fare against the other team. One thing that annoys me just a little, is that when you log onto another server, you might be put on a different colored team, and it totally throws you off. Plus, they should make their characters just a little faster.

so ive been playing sourcefort for a couple of hours and even a little before I wrote this review, so I feel as if I havent played it enough. It's basically a 1st person shooter where you are either on the red or blue team, but ur options are what type of class you want to be: Engineer, Soldier, Roackateer, Scout, and Sniper. Oh yeah, and the setting is the future, so your weapons are futurized as well.
This is where it gets fun, because for about 200-300 seconds, you have to take pieces of steel and make a rudimentary fort, before the mayhem starts. Once the build time is over, fighting ensues in an all out shoot em up capture the flag. I'm not sure which is my favorite weapon, the crossbow sniper, the shotgun, or the insane rifle that the Soldiers get.
My favorite level is one where there is a Tallgrass no-man's-land in between both teams' forts.
Just imagine a Halo-like setting, with just as good graphics.
