I just finished playing Little Nightmares. Overall I would say that playing it was a great experience but I have to admit I am still extremely confused.
Who was the little kid in yellow?
Who were the monsters?
Who was the lady?
What are the little stone gnome things?
As soon as I am done writing this GameLog post I am going to go in search of what everything really meant. In terms of ethics, I still have to do more research. I feel like I'm just not quite grasping something. I could something like "should we allow ourselves to become the monsters that feed on us". Or maybe "what should we be allowed to step on the people that helped us to save ourselves"?
Again, gotta go use my googlefoo to figure out what this game was really trying to say for next weeks paper.

Today I played just over 30 minutes of Little Nightmares. The puzzles were started to get to the point where they were extremely frustrating but fortunately I made it to the next area where things got interesting again.
Things are still swaying like a boat so I am going to stick with that theory.
I finally got to really see the long armed monster thing that haunts the "boat". I only got to really look at it once or twice and every time I saw it I was too scared to stick around and stare at it. I am not really sure what it is. It could be some kind of guard or maybe some kind of "matron" that's supposed to be watching over the children there. Or at least I am assuming all the small people are children.
I'm curious who our character is and why she/he is the only one that is in color. Everyone else is super drab.
The character has stopped twice now, bending over in what looks to be hunger pains. I'm curious if it really is hunger or something else that is being represented.
Looking forward to the final play session where I don't have to limit myself on how much time I can play and just finish the game!

I played just over 30 minutes of Little Nightmares and I am already super intrigued.
Who are the little tiny cute guys that run around? What is their purpose?
I am really loving the puzzles in this game as well.
My initial thoughts are that this game seems to be taking place on a boat. If it does take place on a boat, it would make sense for this game to be about human trafficking but I might be jumping the gun on that. I’m not really sure where it’s going.
Who does the eye represent and what is that long armed monster? Why am I smashing those statues? Is smashing them a good thing or a bad thing?
Lots of questions about what’s happening and I am very much looking forward to figuring out the answers to these questions in future play throughs!
