On today's play through, I finally encountered my first true enemy of the game. This short man with long arms and a broken jaw seemed to constantly pursue me throughout my play through this time. My only complaint with this game is that it is very on rails and I feel that I have little choice on getting into conflict. The only choice I have is how to get out of a conflict and how to escape. I eventually figured out the pattern of the enemies and was able to navigate myself through the territory. One of the most interesting dynamics was when the game shifted themes so dramatically from a more psychological horror game to an actual struggle to escape. For my first play through, I found myself more afraid of the atmosphere. However, there was a room that made me very fearful of the unknown. I remember being most terrified in the room with a large amount of shoes. There was a monster that was invisible. For me, that was one of my biggest challenges. One of the bigger flaws I noticed was that whenever I attempted to throw something at an intractable, the hit detection seemed a little off. However, all things put aside this is still a beautiful game with a rich story even though there is no dialogue. I have thoroughly enjoyed my session with this game and I cannot wait to continue this tomorrow.
