Stephen's Sausage Roll is brutal. It does not begin easy and get harder. It begins hard and...probably gets harder. I solved one puzzle in my 30 minutes of play time.
This is a sokoban-style game, but instead of moving blocks you grill sausages. It is as absurd as it sounds. You are a guy with a grill fork and you push the sausages around. Think of the game space as a 2-d grid, and the sausages as 1x2 objects with a top and a bottom, such that one push will roll a sausage onto its opposite side. The next push rolls it onto the original side. Since the sausages are two cells long, I suppose this is 1x2 on each side. Your goal, then, is to grill each sausage, where each cell in the two 1x2 sides touches the grill once. If you roll an already cooked piece of sausage on the grill again, it burns.
Each grill is one cell, but these can be arranged in many different ways. Sometimes two grill cells are next to each other in a 1x2 shape, so the sausage rolls right on top of it. Other times, there are difficult shapes and you have to figure out how to roll and rotate the sausages just so.
It's freakin' hard. And I gave up easily. I'm a vegetarian anyway, so I will blame my failure to roll sausages on that.
