Now my second time playing I did not skip throught the levels and use cheat codes, I focused on the first level. What I really enjoyed and brought me back to when I used to play this game is the way that the character moves. Not only does he move at a good pace but there are more technological things that really catch my eye. The way the health works is very unique in the sense that as you are shot or dieing the screen turns red and it shows your life diminishing. I thought this was a great idea and helped the game flourish.
I also really enjoy the controls in the game. The way the croutch button works and loading and switching guns. They goive you a lot of different controls which really enhance the experience of gameplay.

Golden eye is perhaps the best first person shooter game ever made for quite a few reasons. For one there are so many levels and each is so very different.
A big factor to me is the level design of each level. You cover so many different levels over the game and the varying backgrounds of each level are amazing. First you are in a base, then on a boat, and then on a bridge, I mean the list goes on and on. The designers made the game very unique because of the way they designed so many different characters also. There are about 10-20 different characters and about an additional 50 or so that are unique to each level. So not only did they create main characters but they also have many different characters that show up on each level and some are better than others based on the deeper you get through the game.
Another really important factor that makes this game so unique is the number of weapons they created for the game, in the 50s to 100’s and not to mention the fact that I think it may be the first game ever to let you hold two games at once.
The cool thing about the game is after you beat it you can go back and have all these guns unlocked, and the number of cheats for this game is uncountable.
