Codex369's Demon's Souls (PS3)

So about twenty hours in to demons souls at this point and today I was at a point where I realise I may need a little break from it. Not cause I'm bored or anything but I think lately I'm just in the mood to play different things instead of just stick to one game all the time. Although the places I went to today in souls were getting prettttty interesting and wild. Might have to dive a little deeper and see what happens lol. The game is much easier now. It seems the difficulty of these games is really in the beginning when you have no stats built up and everythings new and your mot sure how to approach it. Now that I get the gist of everything and I know where certain things are (like finally finding the talisman) etc Etc its just wayyy easier. Could ramp up though well see

So I realize as i am playing it that one, yes i have gotten alot better since i have started this is true.

And two) it's too difficult for me to sit and attempt to get really far on. At least where ihave been at these past couple of days, it takes alot of wind out of me just to keep playj g the same stuff over and over just to do yet again. I'm not saying that's bad or that it shouldn't be like that, just that it's not always the type of gaming experience I'm looking for. So for now I'll go with the flow and see when I'm inspired again. Will play other stuff until then.

My first kind of negative thoughts I've had upon entering the game is "oh this is like a budget fromsoft game. Or oh its mechanics probably arent up to par. Blah blah blah. ITS A FROMSOFT GAME. And they didn't remake it for no reason. I get to play it without paying 700 dollars. Just be happy about that. So theres like 6 ancient heroes I might have to face keep that in mind. Once I beat around 6 or 7 of thos I'm probably at the end. Anyway just enjoy and notice any silly negative thoughts. Again they didnt remake it for no reason. Enjoy.

I guess well see how the general feel is to the game and if I want to continue playing or not 😁😁
So my hp is halved right now.

So whether I have to go through up until a certain point and beat the level or go back to the nexus to regain my hp by getting into a body. Whatever it is I will figure it out.
Right now i cant quite tell what's going on. But dont get frustrated. There IS a way through.

So I got a little further today in demons souls. That's all I'm asking for wasnt trying to be legendary or anything. The challenge is quite alot for me in honesty. The battling takes some getting used to. Glad I picked a knight to temper the enemies steel lol. What it comes down to is practicing my riposte with more challenging enemies. Getting used to that and staying calm with that. Just seeing it as practice and not trying to move through it super quickly.Its just not going to happen. Especially not with qiote a bit of practice. ANYWAY like I said it is indeed a challenge and treat it as such. Well find great ways to enjoy the challenging aspects of this game. Also I will create creative and unique methods and pathways that explore the different possibilities of how I move forward through the game.

One key that I learned today is that games can be a great distraction for my overwhelming desires. Just something to keep in mind
