After another match in Super Smash Brothers, I decided to write a little more about the game play during the match. I played at Hyrule Castle, my favorite stage out of the 8 different stages. The reason I like this level because its basically a normal level to play on with the exception of funny tornadoes to surprise everyone with its presence. Although I rarely died, the times I did was usually because of the computer hitting me with an item such as a Sword or pokeball or because I was hit into a tornado. I got 26 knockouts in the round mainly because of Luigi's Super Jump Punch, which I use alot in my tactics. The basic design of the characters and level was unnoticed as I was focused on the fun I was having playing the game. Usually I play Super Smash Bros with friends but I just wanted this time to play and concentrate on how this game makes me feel, which is happy! However, I did play Super Smash Bros at a videogame tournament we held at our school last weekend. I didn't do so well as my friend dominated the competition but I'm looking to train more.

Probably one of my favorite games of all-time would be the Super Smash Brothers series. Although some of my friends believe that Super Smash Brothers Melee is far superior than the original, I still like some of the qualities of the original Super Smash Brothers game.
One aspect of the game that made me instantly attracted to the game would be the controls. The controls weren't complex so many people who haven't played a game like Super Smash Brothers can easily get into the game. Super Smash Bros Melee may tend to have more controls but being the first Smash Bros, it was very easy to get into the game. Another reason I liked playing this game because it incorporates many of the characters from other Nintendo games I play such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Link and Samus.
Super Smash Brothers was one of the games that made me want an Nintendo 64 instead of going to my friend's house everyday and bugging him to play with me. It was great to go back and play this game again. I decided to play with all items on to add more different outcomes in the game. I picked Luigi as my character, being my favorite videogame character, while choosing characters Mario, Fox, and Pikachu for the computer. As well as items, characters also adds to the different outcomes of each game. Luigi's single Super Jump punch by pressing Up-B near an opponent as opposed to Mario Coin-Uppercut makes him a tad bit different from Mario. However, thats just one of a few differences between Mario and Luigi, making each player have the choice to play different styles. In my next game log, I'll talk more about the gameplay that occured while playing against the computer.
