I personally think this game is a turning point for Mario series or maybe many other games too. It added many other small games into the Mario world, such as gambling, match the special items in three steps, and adding different worlds (each world has a different theme). So Mario is not just a Mario game anymore; it has so many more features rather than just Mario, it can be anything and any game.
The rewarding system in this game really keeps the game interesting and motivates people to try harder and play longer. Different item gives you different special ability. There are a lot hidden bricks which have special items in them. You just want to find them. If you don’t finish one game, you can not go to the next one or next world. You just want to know WHAT IS NEXT!!! I remember my friend and I got really frustrated of losing 10 lives on one game and we just want to keep on trying and trying to see what is next.
Another interesting factor about this game is its randomness. Many times, you just don’t know which way to go, where are the secret spots, what is in that tunnel… etc. I always want to explore every single spots in the game because I don’t want to miss out anything.

It is such a classis game. It is one of the original Mario games. It brings back so much good memories for me and my buddy. Remember back in the days, when we were just little kids. It was a time that we could just run around, wrestle up side down, playing video games all day long. We were so happy before the “she devils” walked into our lives.
Even though the graphic design, sound, and storyline are much simpler than the newer versions of the Mario games, this game made a lot of innovations to the original version of the Marion. It also led a boom of the Mario era.
The set ups, music and graphic don’t really have much improvement from the older versions. Storyline is short and simple just like most of the games at the time. Mario Brothers’ princess “Luigi” got kidnapped; your job is to save her. I like it better that way than a long, complicated and complete story. How can the kids today comprehend those deep stories most of the games have today. How can the adults today have the patience sitting through and finish those long stories.
