I have been playing Madden since Madden 01 for the N64, however once I got to college back in '04, I started taking it seriously, starting with Madden NFL 2004 my freshman year. In fact, it is safe to say that I built my friendships around the playing of the game. Madden 07 is a good game, with the addition of a few new concepts, new moves, and new sound bits, the game has a new and updated feel to it. When playing Madden 07, I find that playing under the setting of All-Pro is the best bet. Playing on All-Madden is very difficult and can somtimes make the game not enjoyable, while playing on Rookie or Pro makes the game way to easy. Although it is not new to Madden 07, the franchise part of the game is my favorite. You do not have to have a friend around to play the game with, and you can build your team by playing hard and playing often. Winning the Super Bowl after making your players practice, making smart trades, and adjusting your team to the way you want it makes the player feel a sense of accomplishment. Overall, Madden NFL 07 be EA Sports is a great and enjoyable and somtimes addicting game to play. Make things even more interesting by playing while drinking beer and betting $1 games.
