I am officially done with this game..
I think I may have overplayed it (?!)...
I didn't know that it could happen. But yea, considering the level of play that I have seen at some Tournaments, I have come to the conclusion that Smash Brothers is skewed in it's balance, favoring fast characters (who are suprisingly some of the STRONGEST characters) over every other...
This type of tier system doesn't sit well with me... I hope Brawl gives Bowser and Mewtwo a fighting chance...

****** Life as MEWTWO*********
Okay, This game has somehow managed to spark my interest in Pokemon again. I'm getting that 5th grade Pokemon Blue/Red fanatisism again--- and it's all because of one of my all time favorite Pokemon, Mewtwo.
In Super Smash, no characters are more shunned, or battered, than Pichu,Ice Climbers, Kirby, Mr. Game and Watch, and Mewtwo. I didn't know this when I began playing as Mewtwo, but I began to slowly see why so many people were turned-off by his play style in Melee... It's really an Uphill Battle. I have been playing with him for the past 2 months, HEAVILY, and am beginning to see a turn-around in my victories to losses ratio.
Mewtwo has a VERY STEEP learning curve, and I still can't see the plateau. I am beginning to think that it is an inherent game-design issue, but, even if it is, I am the type to ignore that he may be Inherently weaker than most characters-- simply because he is one of my favorite Pokemon, and I WANT him to be an excellent contender.
I am beginning to see that Mewtwo is in fact BETTER than people think, but is still limited in attack options.
It's okay, though.. I have no problemplaying as an underdog... Makes any victory that much sweeter right?

Super Smash Bros. Melee...
I have been playing this game on and off for about a year now, and I amazed that it is the only game that I have ever played, that has not lost its appeal over time. If anything, the appeal of Smash grows more with age.
How does this game do this...?
