So, after winning one, I ended up playing again with my roommates. Of course, I was Yoshi again. This time, we went back to 20 turns. I was so relieved. 35 turns is a bit much for me especially when they end up making you do the same mini-games. That was one downside. There probably could have been more mini-games to avoid any redundancy. When playing over again and seeing levels for the second time, I noticed the boards more. For the most part, I thought they designed the boards nicely. I was a bit sad they didn't have more boards and characters though. Well, no matter how many characters there are, I will always be Yoshi. But, it was the first one in the series so of course it had it's flaws. I haven't played any of the other ones in the series, but I hope to someday to compare them. Nevertheless, Mario Party was a fun experience because it brought all the roommates together. I think there's something about Mario games, at least the multi-player ones, that bring people together. Sometimes, games are worse when you add addtional human players, but Mario Party is just as good if not better with more human players.

So, I've been playing Mario Party with my roommates. We have a grudge against Luigi and Wario. So, we do our best to beat them. I always play as Yoshi because Yoshi is is just the greatest. We generally play 20 turns, but my roommate changed it to 35 for one round thinking it wouldn't take that long. When we hit our tenth turn, we thought it was halfway done, but we still had 25 more turns to go. We went to Yoshi's Island which was fine with me since I was Yoshi.
There are quite a few mini games in Mario Party. Some I like, but some just give me a migraine because I simply cannot master them. The ones where you have to rotate the control stick made my arm really tired. The paddle one and tug-of-war were the worst for that. But, they were fun games. We went to the fishing one where we had to aim to get coins, money bags, and chests. I managed to get 30 coins which was a record for me since I'm really bad at that game. Once you figure out when to cast, however, it becomes fairly easy. In an earlier game, one of my roommates grew angry because I knocked her off the ledge in bobsledding. I thought it was funny of course. But, I eventually paid for it in this game. I was bobsledding against another roommate and I flew through the air at one point and I think I hit her bobsled which made me fall off. But, I was actually winning for once so I didn't care much.
In the end, I managed to get the most coins and win an extra star for that. For the first time, I won. I was happy. But, that probably won't happen again. I think it was a one time deal.
I like this game because it's a fun multiplayer game. It's fun to yell at the computers and gang up on them. I thought the levels were designed nicely as well. The cake one made me hungry though. But, it was a lovely cake.
