After our Goldeneye sesssion this weekend, we played a few more times Sunday and Monday and were fully comfortable to rank ourselves as pretty good (but not quite as good as we were back in the day!) This time we played primarily one of my favorite levels, the one where you are able to go through the bathroom vents (sorry i dont remember the name) with a weapon selection of proximity mines! Proximity mines pretty much revolutionized this game for me, it allowed me to place places in the ceiling to guarantee a death by my friends (with our license to kill mode on). It reminds me of the time where we mastered proximity mines and multiplayer spawning so well that once a player died in a level, either me or my friend would be able to continually sabotage the next spawning points so no matter where you spawned you were always going to die! We weren't able to get this going for very long though. Another interesting bug that we did remember to use was stacking remote mines on a player and hten each successive mine. What this does is create a body armor of mines that grow out of your victim and is pretty funny to see before you detonate them! Be sure they don't run towards you when you press the trigger!

This weekend I invited the rest of my housemates for an epic battle in one of my favorite games of all time, Golden Eye for the Nintendo 64. This game was one of the highly addicting games that plagued much of my highschool career (in a loving way!) Once I got in for our multiplayer session, the controls came back to me and I started to remember all of the secret hiding spots and best places to find whatever gun i needed. We played most of the levels (except like the cave which sucks btw) to get a feel for ambushing our comrades. Goldeneye allows users to customize the weapon selection availablility on each map including what kind of options you may want (Such as man with the golden gun). My favorite by far is using the pistols with license to kill on becausey ou can get a more accurate adjustment of player skill then blasting with an AK-47 into a corpse worth of 100 bullets before someone is taken down. Overall this experience got me back into the game and I look forward to playing it again!
