Upon playing it for the second time, I didn't really realize anything different, since the whole concept of this game is beat your opponents. As far as things I like, and things I can change about this game, I think the best part of this game is that you can jump while you're still in the mid-air to avoid getting out of the boundaries. Something I could change about this game would be to add more characters, and give each character more special moves to spice up the game a little more. There's a lot of action in this game, and it can also get really intense, depending on the skill level of your opponents. This is basically a game of emergence, because there's no telling how the player will act or respond to your moves. This game is all about strategy, and how you apply your moves. This game also falls closely to Clark C Abt's definition of a game, which is "an activity between two or more independent decision makers seeking to achieve their objectives in some limiting context."

I played this Super Smash Brothers for the first time a couple days ago with a couple friends that lived down the hall from me. Essentially, what I like about this game, compared to others, is that you can be damaged over 100% and still not die. The whole point of this game is to knock the other players out of the boundaries. Once you get knocked off, you lose a life, and you only get 9 lives. I didn't know there were character-specific type moves that you could do, so I used Yoshi the whole time. Yoshi doesn't really do anything special, except eat up other characters and turn them into eggs, and also throw explosive eggs. The rules and gameplay are also pretty basic. It's to basically kill all your opponents, and the winner is the last man standing. There are a couple affordances in the game, such as barrels and crates that contain weapons you can use to afflict more damage to the opponents. There's no implicit rules to this game as well. The whole point is to destroy all the other players in any way you can. Bad sportsmanship is a key factor.
