Snuggles's GameLog for Gangs of London (PSP)

    Friday 12 January, 2007

Having played Gangs of London more after the review, I realize that while the game is repetitive it remains fun in short bursts. In my opinion, the short mission structure is intended to create a truly mobile experience. The intention of most portable systems and games is to create something that is enjoyable on the go, and Gangs of London fits this ideal mobile game experience well. While it is simple and somewhat short, it is not lacking in story and fun. As I said in my previous entry, it is not worth buying a PSP console for, but it is worth buying if you are looking to have fun on the move or just in your home.

    A very good game log.

I like your discussion of the mobile game experience. This is a very interesting insight into the design of games for handhelds and mobile devices. I would like to read even more of your thoughts on the challenges of designing a handheld game versus a traditional console game.
