RNinjate's GameLog for We Love Katamari (PS2)

My second hour of We Love Katamari was equally as fulfilling as the first. I was able to get pretty far in the game and collect many of the prince's cousins (alternate playable characters)
Im not quite sure why, but something seems incredibly romantic about the game. It might be a combination of the music and the plotline, but in a quirky way the game makes me reminisce.
I also feel as if the concept of the game might have a higher meaning symbolically. This could very well be a breakthrough in the concept of gaming as an artform.
I also learned alot about constellations and planets.

This log seems very vauge. I'm looking for a little more detail on specific aspects of the game and how you responded to them. Did learning about constellations and planets enhance the experience for you? Did you feel it was unneccesary? What sort of mood did the music and plotline set, and how might that lead into a reminiscent feeling? What about the gameplay itself, in what ways did the details of the world and interface make the game interesting or addictive or fun, etc.
Also, I'm not sure if "We Love Katamari" technically classifies as being on the classics list. I'm a little unclear on the policy of sequels, especially one that's so similar.
