 Summary:
I chose to play the highly acclaimed game Resident Evil 4 for the Wii. In the game, you play as a United States government agent known as Leon, and you are given the task of finding the current President's daughter from a secluded location. Although the task sounds simple, the area from which you must retrieve the girl has been overrun by "zombie" peasants!

 Game Experience:
Upon first playing the game, I was surprised that the graphics were so detailed. The characters were very lifelike, especially Leon, who's appearance portrayed the perfect action hero. While playing the game, I noticed that there was a variety of complex controls. To control Leon, you have to use not only the Wii remote, but also the numbchuck. During the first thirty minutes of gameplay, I became frustrated with the controls, for I often forgot which button triggered which action. I frequently found myself at a GAME OVER screen because I had forgotten which button to press to execute a close-range attack.

As I made my way through the first section of the game, I noticed that it was filled with suspense. I often found myself jumping as a "zombie" would emerge out of a building, from a tree, etc. The creepy soundtrack in the game also added to the suspense. I admired that the game was a third person shooter, for a clear image of action was presented. Although there was not much shooting, the game still gained my interest due to the heart-pounding instances and graphic violence that occurred.
