Do I love this game! It is absolutely fantastic and make s me very happy! The addition of the dancing mini-game is a nice touch, as it is fun and surprisingly challenging. It also makes wooing the ladies a little bit tougher. All the additions to the game are really nice: items for your pirate, upgrades for your ships, more ship types, more interesting characters in the bars, more distinction between the different nationalities.

This has to be one of the most satisfying games I have played in a long time.

Nice! I guess I'll have to check it out then. The general reviews are pretty mixed as far as I can tell, and not having played the original (heresy?) I was curious as to how well it stood up.
