JaFish's GameLog for Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors (XBX)

I'm really enjoying Otogi 2 so far. At this point I have a good feeling for the gameplay, but in the beginning I was getting beat down badly by some of the levels. I haven't really played a game like this before; I love the wide-open feel to the movement. All of the characters but one has a double jump. One of them (Suetake) even has the ability to jump infinitely many times, allowing completelely unrestricted exploration of the worlds. The other characters move so effortlessly that the freedom is almost as complete no matter who you choose.
The action is also pretty exciting, with good variation on the levels so far (although when you really get down to it, each level is about destroying things). I don't know how long the gameplay will stay fresh-time will tell- but the game is certainly beautiful to look at and listen to.

Nice! (and welcome to GameLog)
Little question, when you say jump infinitely, do you mean that he/she(?) can effectively "fly" through jumping/double jumping/etc.?

Thanks for the welcome. You've got a great site!
To answer your question, Suetake can indeed jump continuously. It is not quite floating, because each jump is limited, but you can keep jumping in the air. Also, it is not "infinite", as there is an artificial ceiling and walls to the more open areas, but the movement still feels very free.
