Game Entry #2
GAMEPLAY:
Playing Zelda for the second time was more complicated than the first because half of time I was playing I was stuck on the bottom level of the tree trying to jump onto the platform in order to open the gate and move on to the next level. Eventually, I figured it out. While playing I was also in the Lost Forest trying to find my way between the tunnels. After overcoming all the different levels inside the tree I was able to move to next part which I am yet to explore.
My experience this time around was more challenging and exciting because there was more defeat and more logic to gain from the character. Through this part of the game I learned more techniques when fighting. For example, jumping side to side while slashing my sword or aiming correctly when using the sling shot. In my second try I became more experienced with the techniques and figuring out the hints given to me by my fairy.
As time passes the storyline of Zelda just keeps getting better and better!
DESIGN:
The design elements that make Zelda a good game are the storylines. It’s like a separate world from the real world that you get caught up in. In this game I literally lose track of time. I also like the way in which the fairy is used as guidance and advice to help the character move forward. In the beginning when I was trying to find the objects (sword and shield) I liked the way there were objects that helped me practice my moves which would later help me defeat my enemies. The bad element in Zelda was the way the camera was positioned when playing because there were times when I could not see where I was going. Another bad element was the graphics because there were times when objects looked blurry and I was not able to tell which objects I could grab and couldn’t grab.
I liked the level design of the game because they are very varied and bring a lot of interaction between the player and the game. Each level brings out more obstacles that help the player gain technique to be able to face other levels to come. In the Legend of Zelda levels vary based on the mission we have to solve.
The game creates conflict in varies ways. One of the ways is between the character and its enemies. Another conflict that the player faces is with finding objects that are required in order to pass on to the next part of the game. But overall the game keeps the player interested by creating more and more obstacles to overcome and by creating more missions. Most of the game is based on helping others and trying to prove that the character we are is strong, protective and is able to defeat his enemies.
Overall I don’t think there is anything I would change about the game because it is a classic that never gets old and keeps you wanting to play it!

Great work. Your gameplay section, particularly the first half, reads a lot like a blow by blow. In the future you may want to describe the gameplay elements more objectively, as opposed to listing your actions. Still, the content is there.
