    Dwair's GameLog for Stepmania (PC)

    Wednesday 16 March, 2005

well this is my first log in english so please don´t laugh at me yet...:D

i´ve started playing this game three months ago, and i am nearly mastered standard mode...

    here goes some tips:

-doing a lot of jumps doesn´t help at all...

-the first thing you´ll be caressing about is the music, then the arrows and thridly the style you wanna show to your friends!

-if you already played DDR, this will be more of the same, so give a try with all "tricky tricks" and hard modifications like reverse dark 1.5 or more...you won´t be dissapointed for sure...only frustrated sometimes!

-if you don´t played DDR before, i truly recommend it, these tutorials helped me a lot!

well...a week ago i´ve archieved a 394 combo in an anime song (odorikikuu Mamboleo), but i still have a long way to be a DDRMaster...if only weren´t for my 20-bucks soft pad... :D

    Hi,

First of all welcome to GameLog! I really look forward to reading your logs and learning about the games you play and what you think about them. Don't worry about your english, it's fine by my standards! :-)

I've played my fair share of DDR (and sequels..) and I've always wondered about the PC equivalents. My impression is that it is a lot harder from them to work because a PC has a smaller screen (compared to a nice TV) and is usually located somewhere where you won't necesarrily have a lot of room for 1 or 2 dancepads (yeah, playing with the keyboard kind of misses the point, no?). Anyways, how do you make it work?
