I got this game free from PC gamer, but it is free on their website too. It seemed like it would be funny and it is. The characters engage in lots of "witty banter" but I found it hard to get into the game. First, I could only move the characters with the mouse--no other commands. I just poked around each scene and when I got bored drove back to the office. Then, I got bored at the office so I went around town looking for people to talk to. but, I can't figure out how to make more progress. The game is visually appealing and funny--I just wish there was more action in it.

You are probably right that if I had played the whole series I would get this one more. But, at the same time, if I see a movie sequel before the first one, I expect that the film maker will provide enough back story so that I can appreciate the film. So, if there are other commands or some internal logic, it should be accessible without having played the other games too. And, in fairness to the game, I do get the premise, I just haven't figured out how to make progress yet. I am assuming that as I find information, more possible spaces in their world will become possible. I also hope that I will figure out how to use the gun, the bug and the boxing glove I have in this box that follows me around. An old school instruction reader, I would have liked a little help--either a pop-up coach, or a list of key commands or something.
