I have been playing through this game for the second that way I can play the whole series and not miss a thing. I am 1/6 of the way through it in one day (I started playing yesterday). I am using the IGN walkthrough.

I am using the walkthrough because i have already beaten the game and i want to get 100% completion. That way when i play the second game i can import everything from this one. So I guess its because I don't want to miss a thing.

Sounds like an excellent idea. Especially for those games where you can't necessarily "go back" and do something if you missed it the first time around.
